Major General (Retired) Sampath Kotuwegoda has been designated as the brand-new Director General of the Disaster Management Center (DMC).
He will officially presume duties on March 7, 2025, serving on an one-year contract.His consultation follows the completion of the period of Major General (Retired) H.M.U.
Herath, who formerly held the position.
Major General Heraths term is set to conclude on March 7, 2025.
